Snippets of Life

Emmy is smiling now...has been for a couple weeks. How is it that just turning up the corners of her mouth and squinching her eyes a little can bring us so much joy? This picture captures a part of a smile. She often does a big, gummy open mouthed one that I adore.

We had a minute before running out the door to walk to school to snap a picture. Mornings are crazy.
Jansen and Natalie love to sit in their seats at the counter and draw, cut, and color. I caught this picture of Jansen drawing in a very strange position!

And sometimes we even bathe Emmy. :)

She's 9 weeks. Sleeping in her own room now. HALLELUJAH! And has somewhat of a bedtime. I cannot even begin to describe to you how this feels. It feels like some freedom!

She is SOOOO cute Jessica! I want to hold her and to make her smile. And I want to give those kids of yours a hug, even though I know they wouldn't enjoy it. Such a gorgeous family you have there.

I love her Jess. What a doll. I love it when you finally get to that place where you feel like life might actually go back to some what normal. Hang in there!!!

Oh man, in her own room already? Caitlyn is a pretty good sleeper but I still haven't kicked her out yet. I need to get on that!

What a darling smile Emmy has!

Hard to believe one little darling can rule the whole house. Can't wait for her to come rule this grandma's house.

Can your kids be any more adorable? Seriously, you need to take it up a notch. ;) I love your blog and the simple, but witty posts you create about your family. You're great. That's just how it is. What do you think about that? Emmy is so darling by the way even if she does get upset for a while in the car during bad weather conditions. I do, too.

The kiddos are ADORABLE!!! Also, I'm so wiggin' (that word sounds like something I heard as a child on Saved by the Bell) that your children are wearing summer attire and I'm hovering next to my fire. What? I'm so coming down this winter to help my S.A.D., and to eat peppermint bark with you...yep, still jealous over that.
