Under Her Dress

We're in the middle of sacrament meeting on Sunday when I feel some lumps under Emmy's dress. Lo and behold the girl had shoved her legs into the head opening of Natalie's pajama top and pulled it up around her waist. She was also wearing the bottoms which were somehow tangled around her middle as well. Nate and I laughed to ourselves, but it slipped my mind as the Sunday circus continued. Super embarrassing to pick Emmy up from nursery and have her leaders hand me Natalie's well-worn pink camo pajamas that they had discovered under Emmy's dress.

Hello, my name is Emmy and I like to put my mom in uncomfortable situations. I specialize in church and grocery store settings.
Also of note today, the kids were painting and I walked in the room just in time to see Natalie snap a sippy cup lid onto her disgusting paint water and then hand it to Emmy.

this post made me laugh. I'm not sure what part was funnier, the paint water cup or pjs to church. Your kids are great. Last week I babysat a boy Peter's age who just has a slightly younger sister. His mom old me this week that he has been laughing so hard as he recounts to her all the funny things Thomas did while he was here. Hearing that helped me see how funny my life is because of Thomas.

This post made me laugh out loud! That church story is awesome!
My kids are always soaking markers in cups of water to see the water turn color... and then Weston usually convinces Sophie to drink it! I have prevented this from happening a number of times and am now wondering how many times it HAS happened without me noticing! Needless to say, we are going back to crayons.
