Heavy Sigh and Inward Scream

Sometimes I feel like he is so mature and I can trust him with just about anything...

...but then something like this happens:

I guess he is only 3. Definitely not immune to that little devil on his shoulder that gives him these ideas. The red is actually from Natalie who, like always, wanted to do what her brother was doing.

i hate that when i start trusting my kids then they go and do something like this...however..it looks a little like a pirate map, so maybe you could make it into something a little chic!:)

I love the description heavy sigh and inward scream...although mine might've been an outward scream.

Oh that's such a perfect picture of Jansen. I think you said it best when we were over for dinner: "Here comes another unexplainable toddler moment."

No wait.. toddler sounds too young. Preschooler moment? Anyway, it was funny and so true... :)

Sometimes they just seem to do things for absolutely no reason at all. And you can't get too mad because you know... they didn't really think it through. They just did it.

Ahh "it was the devil inside that made me do it" You have more control than I do, I would have definitely yelled out loud! I guess someday you will look back and laugh, but for now....?

I have an armoir downstairs that is covered on one side with sharpie. Yes, sharpie. Natalie did it at that same age...and think of how responsible that kid is! It happens. But, look on the bright side, it's very bloggable.
