So Spooky

I've been wanting to make a "Halloween Tree" for awhile now and finally found some time this weekend to put it together. Thanks so much to Kim, Nate's mom, for finding the perfect pot for it! I haven't hung anything on it yet, but I will! And next to the tree is a strange little spider I made from a mini pumpkin. I'm excited for Halloween. I am a little worried about Jansen and his costume though. So far he seems really creeped out by the dressing up thing and won't try his costume on. I've been reading some Halloween books to him and showing him the kids dressed in costumes but I think he knows what I'm trying to do and he acts totally disinterested. Hopefully he'll cooperate come Oct. 31 and sees all the kids walking around.

And here's Natalie hanging out on the floor.

I support you in your spooky tree! I own a large skeleton made out of pvc pipe! Next year, you'll have to try it! I think I want to use your pumpkin spider idea...

such a crafty woman! Love the tree. we need to get aiden and jansen together because aiden doesn't want to dress up either. He throws an absolute tantrum kicking and screaming yelling "all done" whenever I attempt to try his costume on him. maybe next year? !!!

I support Jansen on veto-ing the whole Halloween thing! You tell him I will send him a bag of candy with or without a silly costume.

The tree and spider turned out SO cute - great job!!! I'll keep my eyes open for some cute little spooky ornaments! And what a doll little Natalie is - looks like she's growing like a weed! I miss them so much!!!
