Easter Weekend (Sunday)

Easter Sunday :)

We didn't have a traditional Easter dinner...it just didn't happen this year...but we did have Francois over for some shredded beef from the crockpot. That made the day a little more special.

We had a little Easter egg hunt with just our family in the backyard after dinner.

Jansen had to find all the blue & green eggs, Natalie had yellow & orange, and Emmy had pink & purple.

Can you spot the egg that Jansen is stumped about in this picture?

I wanted to include these pictures Kim sent us from their Easter so that I'd have them on the blog. I think this one is such a great shot of Kim, Tim, and Grandpa and Grandma Christiansen.

And Grandma looks just beautiful in this one.

What a fun idea to do the colors! I'll have to remember that. Love the picture of Emmy with her basket. Everyone looked so cute in their Easter attire.

Oooh, I love the colors idea too! Makes it last a little longer and you could put very specific stuff in for each kid. You are my mentor...only problem is I'm older. Bah. Why couldn't you have been the older cousin so I could have learned from you and then done it for my kids?
Also, that picture of Emmy making the silly face? Looks just like you as a kid! I know, I was there!
