It makes Natalie and Emmy so happy to see flowers on the tree. I am staying true to my word that I will never live in a home that doesn't have a fenced backyard. March is definitely a great month to live in Vegas. The back door is open, and the kids are in and out all day.

There has been a lot of spilled milk around here lately, and I'm not sure why. Jansen made a real mess a week or so ago, and I was so close to losing it. I kept my cool for the most part...and it was a good thing, because later that afternoon I did this:

I give Natalie 15 kisses on the forehead before she goes to bed every night. I don't know when or how it started. One evening she thought I had forgotten (I DID give her her kisses...she just forgot), and she left this note outside her door for me to see.

I think Natalie will be a great babysitter someday. She seems to have that knack for interacting with little kids, and she seems to enjoy it.

Jansen has been doing poetry units at school. He came up with this "poem" after school one day.

I was thinking what fun Addy will have with Natalie this weekend. I remember Grandpa Fred saying to us once "the next person who spills the sugar will leave the table" guess who spilled the sugar, yep grandpa.

I love this post. Jansen is a genius. Of course he would be with the brains of you and Nate. And how ironic that you would spill milk after Jansen's disaster. (Your toes all curled up in the pic are hilarious.)
