The Bean Lives On

Well the pediatrician sure as heck couldn't get it out. Which I knew would be the case and I wish we could have bypassed that step but I guess you gotta follow the rules. We were sent over to an ENT who took his glimpse of "the bean" and told us we're going to need to sedate her and the earliest we can do that is on Thursday. Something seems a little off about letting a bean sit in her nose for 4 more days, but he's the doctor!

Missed nap + being poked and prodded all day + seemingly insignificant things happening (like her new bar of soap falling in the tub) = THE WORST TANTRUM I HAVE EVER SEEN this evening. I was home alone and I was so close to calling Nate and telling him to come home no matter where he was at in his meeting and I thought something was seriously wrong with her. It was INSANE. She better not ever do that again.

Oh darn it Natalie! I feel your pain. Not up the nose but with the dealing with tantrumy kids on your own.

I feel your pain too. Yikes. So sorry about the bean problem. Hopefully things will go well on Thurs. Come on over to my place and we'll let the kids play in the fenced backyard.

I just hope it doesn't sprout...unless it facilitates its removal of course.

Poor little bean nose! I am thinking about you and the bean stock!

Oh man, Jessica! I would love to see Natalie and Sofie in a tantrum off contest. Let the best one win! What a funny girl. I am sorry for your crazy day. I hope that she is happier today and that the bean comes out great on Thursday. :)

I'm sorry about the bean! My little sister, (also named Natalie) stuck a lego up her nose once and I remember my parents having a pretty hard time getting it out. But she's 18 now and her nose is legoless, so it did come out sometime.

What a nightmare. I hope my kids never ever do that. (or cut their hair off.)

Days like this always seem to happen when your husband can't come to your aid, I hate that. I feel for ya. Maybe you should be thankful for her tantrums it could be an answer to your problem: she cries and cause tears and boogers to come and maybe that will get the bean out with out sedating her, thats my wish for you lol good luck!!
