Dinner a l'Hopital

I've mentioned many times before how long evenings are when Nate is gone. The perfect solution: having dinner with him at the hospital! Nothing like macaroni and cheese, chocolate milk, and Cheetos to keep you going. (Yuck.) I'm not a big fan of cafeteria food, and although I do not consider myself to have germ-o-phobia, I am a little scared of hospitals. I feel like they are crawling with contagious diseases and other sniffle and vomit inducing bugs. So I wish I could have relaxed and enjoyed myself a little more instead of cringing every time Natalie sat on the floor or Jansen ran his hands along the walls. But it was definitely better than spending the evening alone!

I used to go and see Bryan when he was at Grant. It makes it much more bearable when they are on call. Now we go to Riverside where the nasty germ infested food is free, so even better. There is a certain smell in hospitals that make my stomach turn just a bit.

If it eases your concerns any, I ate 1-2 meals a day at Primary's when Evie was in the hospital and I didn't even get a sniffle! Ok, so my thyroid died, but that had nothing to do with those big piles of fries! (But I can't say the same about the post partum belly...)

We loved eating free food at Riverside with Rick. Especially on Sunday nights after a long day of fighting the children alone at church. Keep your chin up.

I love Nate in his doctor's uniform. He looks like he belongs on Grey's Anatomy (I am a recent fan, currently watching season 3)with all the other hot doctors. Thanks for fixing my blog. You're the best.

This is Peter not Ashley :) Nate, I have a question. Why is the food at the hospital cafeteria so unhealthy. Are they trying to create more business for you guys? Can you work on that? :)
