A Pretty Place

The other day I mentioned to a friend that I just don't think Ohio is that pretty. She told me I was the first person she had ever heard that from. It got me thinking...and I think I was wrong. I realized that I need to look around me more, instead of straight down the road I'm driving on. I need to appreciate the big, vast, sometimes blue sky that stretches as far as I can see. (Since there are no mountains. But I would still take mountains ANY DAY.) It was a good little experience for me...I've been much more aware of the beautiful things that are all around me. This cool waterfall that's only about 15 minutes away being one of them:

***Other Stuff***
-Nate and Jansen were out shopping for a bike and they saw someone ride by on a unicycle. Jansen said, "Look! There's part of a bike!"
-Jansen spilled some Carnation Instant Breakfast powder on the carpet this afternoon and when I came down the stairs he had a dishrag in his hand, poised above the mess, and told me he was just cleaning up one of Natalie's spitups...passing the blame. Little stinker.
-Natalie is standing on her own! For very short periods of time. I would say 14 seconds is about the longest she's done it so far. It's a fun new development.

I LOVE Jansen's sun glasses! I think he gets that from his Grandpa Greg.

Hey Jess! This is Erin Berryessa, again. I found your blog by following a chain of blogs and I can't remember where exactly it was, but I was looking through your friends and saw that you know Clint and Kelli. Kelli was in my mission. I just think it's funny how small the world is. Hey, do you know anything about Lindsey Steele (I can't remember her married name)? I haven't seen her since her wedding like 8 years ago!

Linds needs to jump on the blog wagon. I should see her while we still live in Utah. Would you mind emailing me her number and email? To erindixon520@gmail.com. Thanks, Jess! And your family is darling, such little cuties!

I'm glad to see the waterfall has so much water! When we went last June, it was all dried up! We'll have to try it again...

You are looking so good Jess. Aren't kids so funny? I got a kick out of reading what Jansen did after he spilled. That is totally something my Jack would do! Love it!
