Legoland

The drive to San Diego went well...uneventful and fairly minimal amount of crying. There was a time that I thought I was going to have to have Natalie just pee into a jacket (it was the best idea I could come up with) because there was nowhere to pull over. Thankfully we avoided that exploit.
After the quick trip to the beach on Monday morning, we headed to the place where heaven meets earth...for Jansen anyway. Perfect weather. Not crowded. I hope that Legoland employee with the camera doesnt feel like a total failure...not only did we reject her offer to take our picture, we got a picture of her!
Emmy was happy that we let her come despite her nighttime antics at the hotel room.
We kept running into this issue: the kids are in heaven and happy as can be in a certain area of the park, but there is so much more to see. Do we usher them along? Or just let them play to their heart's content?
Don't worry. It's not a real lion. Just a Lego one. They aren't nearly as dangerous.
Jansen's really gotten into something created by the Lego company called Hero Factory. We were so pumped that there was a Hero Factory area at Legoland. Here's my little hero:
A favorite ride. You can shoot water at other ships and also at people just walking around at the park. BUT, there are guns positioned that they can use to get you back! Notice poor wet Natalie!

Plotting her next evil nighttime scheme...
Yes, it's made of Legos. Very cool.
There was a Las Vegas display as well. This is the Luxor.
                                                                             Good doggy.
Can't wait to go back. Jansen's already asking when. But then again he's a planner...we've already written several letters to Santa already this year.

I love Legoland. We haven't been there since Jantzen was 1 1/2. I hoping we can go there over spring break this year...Jantzen's going to love the Hero Factory!
