For starters, a couple funny things Jansen has said lately. I asked him if he could carry a laundry basket up the stairs for me and he hesitated for a bit and said, "Ummmm, I don't think I have enough might for that."
Awhile again we were saying nighttime prayers and in his haste Jansen prayed for the food to be blessed. He quickly caught himself and said, "Or not. Actually please don't."
Today we took a trip to good old D.I. Do you think every D.I. in the entire nation smells the same? Because I do. I don't know if it's the cleaning products or what...I could pick out that smell from a mile away. We needed something fun to do today (Let's go to D.I.! Yes! That will be fun!) so we headed over there and picked out some books. Someone had just dumped off a bunch of Clifford books, which we love, and we also got some great Mercer Mayer and a few others I was excited about. We grabbed a treat at Wal-Mart and then took them home to read in our little tent. It was a success...we'll have to do it again.

YES YES YES, I agree on the D.I. smell. I wondered if I was the only one that noticed.
LOL we do that for fun to!! I love buying books at D.I. then I don't get to mad when the kids rip them or abuse them lol
You and your kids make me laugh. Reading your blog makes me miss you and your cleverness around here. It seriously brightens my day to read it. I agree on the DI smell, and have you noticed that water from church drinking fountains tastes the same no matter where you are? They're not kidding when they say the church is the same everywhere.
maybe we should do a book exchange with you. I have sooo many books. I get more at yard sales every time I go and then I remember that I don't have room for any more- but my kiddos always want new ones!
Those kids of yours are too cute.
That prayer got me laughing out loud! And amen to DI smell. That actually sounds like a fun activity for the kids. We will have to do that soon.
