Many of you have probably already done this, but it was our first time so I thought I would share the recipe.
It's edible peanut butter playdough:
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Just mix the ingredients in a bowl.
Yes, it was kind of messy.
No, they didn't spend hours playing with it.
Yes, it kind of grossed me out to have them eat something they played with like that.
But it was something different...we had fun.

I'll admit, my stomach is churning a little bit. But I'm sure it didn't gross them out! It looks like they had a blast though, and I have no doubt E would love it too. I'll have to try it.
You know, it's not that different from all the other food kids eat. They manhandle everything! I was just watching Evie eat an orange, and it was pretty mutilated by the time it made it to her mouth! I'm gonna make it next time I have Ali and Eve for the morning. They'd love it And, I'm thinking I might sample it too...before they do of course.
My Jr. High Home Ec. teacher taught me that one - we called it nutty putty. I dreamed of that stuff for years after - so much goodness!
Mmmm..now you got me cravin it. I really am gonna have to make it sometime..for Jaycik of course cause it's for kids right..Ok ok I'll admit it's purely cause I want it!
you are such a good mom..i don't know if i will make it, just because i know it will end up everywhere!:)
Thanks for giving me an idea to help my endless week become less endless.
I have made them to put between apple slices with marshmellos lined up to look like a mouth for snack, but seeing in a form of play dough....gross....
At least they ate their protain!!
When Jansen smiles like that -- I can't tell you what a kick I get out of it. I dare you to look at it and not smile yourself.
