I Want to Blog

I really do.

There's just not a lot of subject matter.

We did go sledding awhile ago. We spent as much time getting our clothes on as we did sledding, but it was a blast. The wind hindered Jansen's experience, but he'll be back for more on another day I think.

I love sledding myself. We had one of these growing up and man that thing could FLY! I wouldn't let my kids on it without a helmet I don't think.

It looks like you went sledding in the dark. That would be fun, like at Soldier Hollow. Remember sledding down the hill by our house and then down into the foundation of Hoaks?

Hmmmm...you know what? sledding in the dark is awesome. In fact if you're going to go sledding it should only be in the dark. Do you have this awesome image of me flying down the hill, going over a bump and very ungracefully getting a severe case of whiplash? I hope you cherish that image.

You and I have opposite problems. I have too much information to blog about, and I'm really not in the mood to blog. I have two people who regularly comment (you and Lani) and though I love you both more than my luggage, it's kinda not as fun when you don't get feedback. I'm at the point that I only post when it's something I want for "scapbook" type purposes.

On another note, I hate sledding. Did you know that about me? I enjoy the rush, I'm a rush junkie I'd venture to say, but I HATE being cold. And despite how much I try, what I buy, and the precautions I take, I'm still too cold. We took the Chickies to Soldier Hollow and after two rides down I decided the lodge and some hot chocolate seemed more fun. Sheesh. I'm pathetic. BUT, if you made that snow luke warm, I'd be in.

I LOVE sledding, we have concered 4 sledding hills so far. I love laughin as I do down, and hear the kids screaming down. Our newest thing is to stand up on the plastic sled as we go down.
The sled you were showing, deadly.
I never let kids go sledding by those monsters. Metal, hill, kids, speed....not good.
By the way, we have never sledded in a dark. Got to try it.
