Down on the Farm

We had a fabulous time at the Slate Run Historical Farm on Thursday. I got us lost of course but it was not my fault...I guess Google doesn't have ALL the answers. But we made it, and as you can see, the kids enjoyed themselves. There WERE some really cute animals (baby pigs, sheep, etc.) but I have this thing about taking pictures...I won't take a picture unless there is a person in it...and there just weren't very many opportunities for that.

Hey, I'm like that about pictures too! If I ever do take a landscape or whatever, I'm like "why did I take this?" and I usually delete it. So I think I've gotten to the point that I don't bother in the first place. I'm glad you guys had a fun time!

You took some really cute pictures! It is pretty easy to get a good picture when your kids are so cute!! Loving the pig tails!

Looks like fun, I think it looks really pretty where you live! How long are you guys planning on living there?

I feel that way about pictures too! Probably because I hated the rolls and rolls of film my dad would take at camping trips of mountains, rivers, etc.
Looks like a lot of fun...how'd it smell? I know you liked that too :)

Hey! Wasn't this place awesome? We ended up going on Friday with Dan. We'll have to go again sometime though!

How fun! we need a place like that around here. I am all about people in pictures as well! In the long run- unless it's AMAZING- you won't care about the landscape in a few years.

Hi Jessica! So, you have the cutest kids! This is Angie (Benson) Tingey. My mom just saw your mom and sent me the link to your blog. I just wanted to say hi. How are things going? How do you like Ohio? We are in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a great place to live, except that the winters are forever long and very cold. I have a little girl (3 months old) and am teaching part time online with an online high school. My husband has one more year of grad school (MHA/MBA dual degree) and then, who where we will go? I hope you are doing well. My blog is tingeystory.blogspot.com, but I think it is invite only, so I have to invite you and I don't know how to do that without an email address. I am hopeless when it comes to this blogging thing. I just started it and am not very good at it. OH well, my email address is angela.tingey@gmail.com.

Farms are always fun in my mind. I love animals, and my kids love them even more.
