The Chipmunk Adventure

Anyone else love this movie when you were a kid? My new brother-in-law got it for me for Christmas and I could not have been more thrilled. It even came with the soundtrack...which has such wonderful songs like The Girls of Rock n Roll, My Mother, and Wooly Bully. Some of the songs even make me get kinda teary eyed. Man I loved this show.

I loved this show! The one where they are in the hot air balloons and have to race across the world with the Chipettes. I saw it at the library and now I am going to put it on reserve and make Julia watch it with me! I love the part with the snakes and the Chipettes have to charm them.

I totally also loved this show. It was my favorite "I'm Sick" show to watch. Good stuff.

Sad I can't see the picture! I saw the movie last year at Wal-Mart and had to buy it! This was one of mt favorite shows!!! Embarrassing to admit but I watched it a month or two ago when I wasn't feeling well. It's still just as good!!! Funny how you remember all the words to the songs...

I know the part that makes you ferschnickity. It's the song about mothers. I know, because when we'd watch it as kids, I'd have to go give my mom a hug after that song. The cool thing is, my kids do the same thing now! (Yes, we do indeed watch the Chipmunk Adventure!)
I have to admit, Shane and I were just a teensy bit disturbed listening to the words of the song "Gettin' Lucky". (Is it really what it's all about?) We're pretty sure Getting Lucky is way below watching the Office on ClearPlay.

Scotty and I spent hours learning the "moves" to the dueling song "We are the girls/boys of rock and roll".
I also spent countless hours trying to decide which Chippette I would be. (I secretly wanted to be the super cool Britney, but deep down I was pretty sure I was Jeanette.) Maddy told Grace the other day that she was definitely Eleanor. I was waiting for her to feel bad about that but Grace said, "Yah, I totally thought that too!"
Is that a long enough walk down memory lane for ya?
