More About the Tooth Extraction

I wanted to post these two pictures from yesterday's tooth extraction. They had Jansen lay on the "Olympic Papoose Board." It just made me laugh because it had this cute little picture on it of a happy smiling baby in his papoose but it's really just a big long board with velcro flaps to completely restrain a child. The website that sells them advertised this: "A struggling, frantic child can be completely immobilized in less than 60 seconds on a Papoose Board." Hilarious. And yes, often necessary.
Jansen did SO good. He was so cooperative and didn't cry or complain ever.
Now here is another funny picture. This was on our way home and the numbness and sedation had not completely worn off yet so he was not quite himself. He couldn't walk on his own and his eyes would cross a little sometimes. So here is his sedated smile. I can hear you laughing out loud right now Mom.
Last night I told him that they took out his "sick" tooth and we looked in the mirror and at the extracted tooth. He didn't care at at all.

I hope I never ever ever have to go through that with my kids. How on earth did he behave so well during the maneuver? I wouldn't
have done that well myself- but I did have to take sedation drugs before going to the dentist when I was little.
