Funny and Fussy Kids

I was changing Jansen's diaper the other day and he wanted to lay his cars next to him (as shown in the picture) with their undersides facing up. Like they were getting their diapers changed too. I thought it was pretty funny! He does a lot of silly things everyday...tonight my dear husband passed some gas (as males are prone to do) and Jansen heard it and said, "Motorcycle!"

Natalie had her one month check up today and she is a chunker! 94th percentile for weight (11 lbs 10 oz), and 85th or something for her height and head size. You go girl. Still no explanations or answers for her fussiness. I guess it's just time to get used to it. We just make high need babies...that hate pacifiers and swings and car seats and require us to hold them pretty much all of the time and make Nate and I eat dinner one at a time while the other bounces and consoles. But hey, it'll pass. She's still as precious as can be.

That was pretty funny about his trucks getting their diapers changed, too. I'll have to try that with Kyle. Diaper changes are rough lately.

Jansen just makes me laugh. All the time I will think about things he did while I was there and I just have to smile. How fun it would be to be able to read their little minds! Lexi will be there soon, wish it was me.

I think fussy or not she is the most precious thing I have ever seen. Mabey Heavenly Father sends you a little bit of a fussy baby because he knows you and Nate are amazing and can handle it with patience and kindness, not every parent would. Go Nate and Jess! We love you!

Something worth having is always worth working for! Though she may take more effort now, it will pay off big time in the future. I know how these little "Natalie's" are, and though they are taxing as infants, they grow up to be the most fabulous, amazing, and precious children! Keep forging ahead, and don't forget to call the "lollies" if you need to vent!
P.S. The hard ones are always cuter too! You are a trooper!
