Boy or Girl???
It's almost here! My ultrasound is this Wednesday and I can hardly wait. And I want to know what everyone thinks it is! So if you read this blog leave a comment based on your oh-so-reliable instincts of whether you think it's a boy or a girl. Don't even consider not leaving your "vote"...I know who you are!!! By the way, I started feeling the baby a few days ago...it's so cool.

If our last name was White, I would vote for another boy so I could name him Bob. For all you non-birders, a bobwhite is a type of quail. Google it to see a picture, they're really cute. Yes, I'm totally kidding, I would never name my kid after a bird. I do think this one's a boy, though!! -The Dad
Oh come on Nate, you know deep down it would be enjoyable to name your kid after a bird. Even though 99% of the world would not know he was named after a bird. I vote girl but Cola you know the reason I vote girl, its all about the amazing little Carters sweaters I have to hand down. So the Leavitts say GIRL!GIRL!GIRL!
O.k., so it's been a while since I saw the blog. I too have an obsession with the mini-eggs. Shane keeps a few bags in the trunk of his car to pull out after they disappear at the store. He knows how to keep me content. Jansen looks so cute with his icecream cone and his basket was darling! Here comes my vote...o.k., so I want to say girl because you know that I have skads of outfits and burp cloths and shoes and blankets that I would love to send out to Ohio to a little Nye gal, but I'm so used to people who only create one kind of posterity, whether it be male or female, so my gut has to say boy. Although I do believe that Jessica needs a girl to go to 7-11 with while the guys are out birding. Hmmm...my final answer is, boy. Whatever "it" is, it will be very loved!!!

ok no seriously. but not changing to subject too much: "bird" starts with B, "boy" starts with B...therefore it will be a boy.
The other Grandma is kind of leaning towards a boy too! We're all very excited up here in Seattle
to hear the news!! And since I haven't had a chance to "comment" lately, just wanted to say thanks for all the adorable pictures, videos, and your clever commentary Jess! As a Mom and Grandma far, far away, I appreciate it so much!
