Since we will be moving from Columbus next year and Jansen has some really great friends out here, we decided to have a birthday party for him.
Didn't Nate do a fabulous job on the cake? I helped a little with the decorating, but he deserves all the credit.

insanely cool cake. It's very realistic even!
ReplyDeleteThat is an Awesome cake. Nate should go into business!
ReplyDeleteI love that there is just one little girl in the middle of all those boys. And I agree that the cake is pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteJulia and her boyfriends-of course she had a great time. Is she opening up Jansen's presents?
ReplyDeleteNate makes birthday cakes, too???
ReplyDeleteHOW oh HOW can I get Ryan to make our kids' cakes?? Ryan always just says it's a good thing our kids have a mom or they wouldn't even have cakes! I'm showing this to him in the hopes that it might inspire him... :)
Looks so fun-I bet little Jansen had the time of his life-and 4? I'm sorry, I guess it didn't dawn on me that I should be astounded by this, but 4???????
The POPCORN coming out of the smoke stack. Too much. Just too much.
ReplyDeleteAwesome train!!! Happy Birthday Jansen!
ReplyDeleteLove the popcorn smoke! Jansen's smile says it all. I love all those cute little kids in a circle. See ya tomorrow! Love, mom
ReplyDeleteSo creative!! The popcorn is a brillant idea, way to inspire!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! I'm glad you got to celebrate with all of his friends. I love throwing parties here at our house. It makes it more fun for the kids... or maybe just me!!
ReplyDeleteJansen must have just been in heaven!!! All that chocolate and yummy goodness mixed in with his love of trains...add in friends, presents, pizza...how did he sleep that night? You're making me miss OH too much! Oh, and if Nate ever got tired of being a dr. he could do well in the cake business. Holy cow--he must have been proud of his masterpiece!
