Anyone else's heart sink a little when the kids want to paint or do Play-doh? Always right after you've finally cleared off the counter? And swept? And their clothes are clean? I guess as long as they're having fun, right? RIGHT!???
You get your "Amen!" from me. But yesterday the girls played play-doh for 90 minutes, so it was worth it. Painting hardly ever is. Uber messy, but they do love it.
Yes. I finally understand now why my grandma always told me "no" when I wanted to paint. I don't think my mom and dad owned paints. Grandma would trick us into painting the back porch with water and paintbrushes and it kept us busy for hours.
Ohh.. I can't get over Emmy's cute face in that last picture. You are so funny, and SUCH a good mom. I need to be better at doing messy projects with my kids. Miss you guys!
yep, right there with ya.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, and yes. Paint and play dough are two of the things on this earth that I hate most!
